Dr. Katalin Bella
assistant lecturer at Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Humanities, Eötvös Loránd University
Dr. Bella’s research interests are history of printing, book publishing and literary policy in Hungary in the 1940s and 1950s, as well as popular and youth literature in the 19th century, formation and reading habits of the Hungarian intellectual class in the 18th century in European context.
Dr. Bella has got a unique teaching method which makes her popular among students: she teaches library science with examples from diverse fields such as quantum physics or theatre subject area.
Although the role of a keynote speaker is new for Dr. Katalin Bella, she has got experience in BOBCATSSS. Dr. Bella participated in BOBCATSSS 2005 as a member of the organizing team, when symposium took place in Budapest, Hungary.
